Measure like a Nomad-Pro
Measuring Enclosed Storage
Enclosed Storage = units with doors.

Pro Tip: Use tape to hang a piece of paper where the QR Code will go on the outside, then measure from the inside to the paper's edge. This will help accurately record interior depth plus the door's thickness.

Measuring Open Storage
Open Storage = units without doors.

Pro Tip: Measure from the back of the storage unit to the front where the QR Code will be placed, usually around eye level.

Tips and Tricks for Successful Setup
- Measure depth carefully — from the very back to the front edge where the label goes.
- A shelf = any surface where product sits (yes, bottom of fridge and top of rack, too).
- The back = shelf edge, back of cabinet, or metro backer. Wherever the product touches. Don’t measure beyond the shelf edge to the wall—this will cause inaccuracies.
- Consistency is key; If metro backers are used, make sure they’re on every shelf. If you push only some products past the rear edge, counts may be affected.
- Floor space where boxes are stacked can still be counted- these will appear ina dedicated location called “Off-Shelf.”
